I liked the first game

She's just hot. Atelier games are okay, but they're not going to be mindblowing by any stretch of the imagination, and Ryza's specifically aren't known for being particularly good Atelier games.

>tranime
>good
nigger, i...

I literally haven't played an Atelier game since Rorona, so I can't comment on the newer ones, but they used to be pretty good.

What's the difference?

they have fun craftintg autism gameplay. They're also pretty relaxed compared to other jrpgs.

Does it have combat? What kind?

...love the taste of poop?
Yes, we know

She's just hot. Now post lewds so I can jerk off.

The modern Atelier games that started with Totori all play the game. You play as a girl, make items, explore areas until you can get new recipes/materials to make better items and unlock new areas. This has not changed for almost 10 years.

ATB combat in Ryza others are strictly turn based.
In most levelling gives you hardly any stat increases and xp gain is slow with a low level cap. Instead you are meant to craft overpowered upgrades.
Ryza this is less important, you and your party members are stronger in combat.

>female mc

All games developed by Gust are inherently garbage

aaaaa I fucking hated ATB combat, at least in the older FF games.

>Are these games actually good
They're OK. 2nd game's combat system is actually quite fast paced and fun.

Does it matter which I start with? I have a Switch so that's where I'd like to play

So are they ever gonna give us Arc/Ciel Nosurge DX in the west or are they forever stuck in Japan?

The combat can be ok once you get used to it and learn some nice moves. Overall the games aren't good but on PC you can use lewd mods to overcome the bad gameplay.

The games are all broken up into their own little series and pretty much all of them the plot is "cute girls do cute things and make bombs".

This gives a decent rundown of the series as a whole. Really only Ryza and Sophie benefit much from playing the first game as they are direct sequels. Whereas Firis for example while being in the same universe as Sophie and features her heavily (she is a party member) the story is now about Firis and her doing cute things. This extends to Lydie and Suelle where both Sophie and Firis become party members.

As for which games run well/are even available on the switch I've no idea. I like PC for the mods.

how come the girls in game here look so much better than xenoblade chronicles 2
xenoblade looks bad

Why are you even bringing up xenoblade? The games have basically nothing in common.

cause both are rpgs focused on cuteness
im just saying that this series has a much better artstyle and xenoblade needs to copy it

I think you might be obsessed. Besides Xenoblade outside of a few skits is focused much more on adventure and exploration.

If Ryza is hot then she should cool off, in her bathtub.

ive never played either of these games
but ryza here looks a lot better than say pyra or mythra because ryza looks a lot more defined with the artstyle. both are games that are on the switch and are open world cute rpgs. ill bring up whatever game i want and you can deal with it
