Bang is shit, I can't believe it got as popular as it did, I remember when it first released and my company at the time picked it up, every flavor I tasted was trash, and yet it was one of our top sellers and the company pushed it hard. I found it amazing that an energy drink company could create so many garbage flavors and think they were good.

I find it funny how energy drinks became synonymous with an activity that involves sitting on your ass doing nothing. I drank them a lot back when I was a chef doing 14 hour shifts but why for gaymen?

People drink them so they can stay awake longer and play video games longer? It's pretty obvious, or at least to me that's the main reason it's so popular with gamers. It's also popular for gamers who play grinding games, or games that require them to invest a lot of time in said game to get better stuff.

They use artificial sugars instead of real sugars. I read once that the reason they do this is 1. It's cheaper and 2. Real sugar has like a hard cap for the human body, like for example pretend it's two teaspoons. If you put in 2 or 10 teaspoons of sugar, it doesn't affect the bodies response because you've hit the cap. However artificial sugars trick the body and you can put in 10x or 20x the amount and it'll get you addicted even harder than real sugar.
