No. I've always thought it was shit.

Never played a single ass creed game. Is it worth playing the first ones?

Yeah, I do. It peaked with IV, when that bland nothing of an MC finally got removed from the picture and we could focus on historical stuff instead of the boring modern frame story.

Doesn't every AC game have some modern framing story? Honestly it's stupid as fuck.

Yes I remember Black Flag.

Up to 3, but you'll like it more if you like sci-fi.

Last week I finished AC1 and it sucked so badly. Overhyped shit. Just give me my Prince back

Yes I remember Prince of Persia.

>it's stupid
Not really. If you have a franchise that jumps around to different historical periods having a built in narrative device that saves you from having to re-establish everything each game is pretty clever.
The problem was they never seemed to commit to the modern time story and it ends up going nowhere.

i remember people hoping there would have been a game where you play as miles in the present time doing assassin shit from all the stuff he learned from altair. but then they fucking kill miles

Correct me if I'm wrong but the first couple games had a lot of modern conspiracy theories and things. In particular I rember there was something about 2012 and how it's the end of the world. Or maybe those were just fan theories.

That's why IV was the best, because it has the least important frame story. You can just focus on the pirate fun.

Yes, the original idea for the series was to discover that the "classic" conspiracy theories were all true. It was a time when such things were seen as more harmless than now.

(((Templars)))

I'm recovering some of the games (not the new ones) after stopping at 3 at release.
I'm currently playing Black Flag, the game seems fun when pirating around, but everything else is mostly boring

is that adam sandler

1, 2 and Brotherhood were the only good ones. AC ends after that. How is that hard to understand?

Any Forumsirgins never played good games. look at these post assassination escapes with the city bell and adrenaline pumping music

Black Flag was a pirate game and not an assassin game.

I was trying to play watch dogs and it feels very sluggish. All I could think about was "wow I really wish I could smoothly jump there" and "it would be very nice if I could side wall eject". It's a cryin' shame Désilets couldn't make his trilogy with a modern Desmond game. It was so fun popping dudes with a Glock in 3.
