That Nintendo really improved their marketing since.

That Wii and their audience went to smartphones during Wii's life leaving very little interest in a successor

Controllers can make for interesting TV remotes.

I wanna bang wonder woman so much

That it was awesome once hacked.

Great emulation machine when you crack it.

wii was great
official ranking:
gamecube > n64 > wii > switch > snes > wii U

Very true. An underrated aspect of the WiiU was being a universal remote.

that even toddlers won't ask for their favorite toys if they don't know they exist.

That a controller with a plastic, 480p capacitive screen is not a system seller.

But that a handheld system that can be docked and turned into a console instantly IS.

the switch is a handheld not a console retard

That names matter and first impressions matter even more.

Ew where's the loli?

When its docked every component increases in clock speed. So it literally becomes more powerful when docked. It's essentially a console when docked.

Higher ram clocks, higher GPU clocks and higher CPU clocks.

Don't launch a new platform that's both expensive and weak without-
A) Splatoon, a game that appeals to your target demo that they actually want to play.
B) Mario Maker, a game that properly shows off the uses of your new console's key features that's actually fun to play unlike Nintendo Land and New Mario U.

I stand by the idea that if Nintendo had launched the Wii U with those two games, pack-ins or otherwise, the Wii U would have had a much stronger start at the very least. The normies would have gotten past the naming issue by seeing the system marketed with a game they'll actually look at, while developers would have seen a traditionally controlled game and a Wii U Game Pad gimmick game working at the same time right out of the gate.

Marketing is more important than the product itself.

>Buy Amiibo and you can fuck your big sister

I don't know about you but I'm buying a Pikachu right now!

>snes that low
>nes not even mentioned
>GameCube that high

Kill yourself zoomer

Marketing a controller instead of a console doesn't work.

I think this gimmick really harms the switch. In docked mode the performance remains two generations behind and in handheld mode the battery life is ass and it chugs trying to run ports. Neither mode is as good as it should be because it half assed both.
