What are the chances TES VI has some stupid shit in it that makes it impossible to mod or at least limits modding capabilities
What are the chances TES VI has some stupid shit in it that makes it impossible to mod or at least limits modding...
That's not their model.
They depend on the playerbase's ability to fix their rotten, unfinished products themselves. They rely on the modding community to keep their games selling.
Just don't be surprised when it's blatantly buggy and released with fewer features. Because the modders will fix it for free.
Fucking Bethesda.
>you have to buy the mod pass
>you have to include the drm in your mods
>you have to own the key to your mods
>you have to buy the right version of the CK to mod it
>mods only work online only
Curious, what is the worst conceivable thing that could ever happen in that case to make modding as walled off as possible?
if anything theyll make modding more regulated so no nudes and whatnot like mods in consoles
>arbiteary "quality" standards
Ooh thats a good one!
50%. It will either be moddable or it won't be.
Zero.
Bethesda isn't dumb enough to forget modding is why their games sell.
Close to zero.
The buggy on release meme has to be console fags and modtrannies spreading propaganda so they can pat themselves on the back right?
I've played Skyrim on launch pirated, literally no issues with bugs. I played Fallout 4 on launch. No bugs.
People act like Bethesda games are Cyberpunk games, but that's far, far, far from reality. I played cyberpunk on launch and ran into a new glitch and holes in the map every day on the PC launch. Then the cherry on top was them pushing out an update that broke my game before the Christmas break with their end of the year patch making me have to install a previous version of the game to complete.
To my knowledge (very limited) fallout 3s issue stemmed from gfwl which was purely implemented to tie in the console connection (achievements/profile/etc)
