Imagine being a in middle/junior highschool and becoming famous for acting as a green pixie fairy man. The OG Peter Pan didn't get any more acting work from Disney, no royalties from his performance as the movie's main character, and went on to lead a traumatized life of drugs and regret until he eventually offed himself.

People blame Disney, but honestly it's his parents fault. So many child actors get ground up by the Hollywood machine it should be considered abuse to ever consider putting your kids through that.
