While people told me I should "move on" from Team Fortress 2 and these were my options.

When only 1 good game released in over 3 years, the industry became well the industry market is saturated with copy pasted garbage that makes money so we keep getting the same copy pasted garbage.

when the connect for the xbox 360 came out, i could sense something was wrong

When I realized tabletop RPGs are better than any experience I could get in any vidya that were coming out.

Who told you to "move on" from TF2?

Incel trannies

It didn't. It's incredibly cheap for a hobby, you can get away with investing a 1.000€ every 6 years and play all the titles you want. The problem is 4channers and redditors replacing the hobby with their life, instead of leading a normal life and playing 2-3 hours of vidya a day max.

What was the good game?

The Nintendo Switch.
>worst to second worst 3D Mario game
>flagship Zelda game was overhyped because people wanted it to be this generations OOT so bad
>ports of WiiU games fucking over the fans that were actually sticking by with Nintendo during their lowest point
>absolute record low effort being put by Nintendo
>No new MK
>New MK tracks are literally mobile tracks without upgraded textures scaled up
>Completely sterile Mario Party
>just lack of soul across the board
>disgustingly apparent that there isnt the same quality and effort being put into all of their products and services compared to previous gens
>have to fight hordes of switchbandwagonners for years to no avail
>defending all the shitty practices and C&Ds on the cool fan projects for a company that doesnt care about them
>only recently have started to get called out on their bullshit because the cycle is gonna repeat

I just play old games I missed. There are still thousands of them. I have a massive backlog.
One or two games that interest me still come out every year. Those go to the end of the backlog. It's not hard. You can't tell me you've played every good old game ever.
Maybe you should diversify your genres.

Dont laugh but "The battle frontier project has started" in ORAS. I still remember that feeling of betrayal because the developers just could not be arsed to put some effort in

There was never a defining moment. As I got older the things I was deeply passionate about started to rot away. Blame it on capitalism, or sjws, or whatever you want. At the end of the day I'll just give you this piece of advice, Any Forums:

Don't ever get invested in things. In a post-2012 world it's fucking pointless. You'll keep coping and fighting and struggling against reality, but when all is said and done you'll realize that you have nothing left. Just shut up, get a job, and die in your office.

When coomers and tranime got involved.

Those are pretty much the same people

>gaming focusing on troon and lgbt inclusion shit
>microtransactions
>season passes
>early access
>games only made to make a profit, not make a good game
>same shit different day
It’s all so tiresome

i forgot when exactly, but e3 remined me of the state of the industry every june

When Xbox went to shit so between 2013 / 15
