Comedy God has spoken.
You aren't allowed to enjoy it anymore guys

What even is it? I remember thinking it looked gay as shit at release. Is it a puzzle game?

Some scenarios are funny
Some scenarios are so cringe I almost punched the screen

Its all over the place but overall Im glad I played it and didnt pay for it

The Stanley Parable was quaint as a source mod and interesting as a standalone game, this is what we call "milking it"

Its Art with a videogame skin.
There is some pretentious shit, there is some legit funny shit, there is some shit youve seen before in other media but done well enough.

It's a walking game with a narrator and branching paths. The fun comes from the narrated portion and there is no engaging gameplay.

I wish there was a real plot instead of meta meta meta we are so meta.

It is not a gameplay game. It is a narrative meta mindfucky experiment.

I had fun and you cannot take it away from me, video game haters.

I don't believe scripted and intentional comedy is possible in interactive media. I've played games across the spectrum, constantly investigating indies and bedroom developers... never once found something I would describe as humorous.

Seriously
Getting too meta only makes you look pretentious as fuck

>It's not a game game, it's a listen and watch game
So it's a movie?
>video game haters
Good thing this isn't a video game. Any Forums hates those.

I want to know what happened to employee 432, I want things to matter, I know the game wants to be above all that but its just not fun and if I wanted some philosophy about the meaning of life Id go read books.

I think ragdolls are funny when you don't expect it.

I like it. It’s more of a game meta now but the new content is fun.

ahah you figured it out
it's shit
and you got fucking ripped off
12 endings in the original game

It was good at the time, but I don't have any interest in revisiting it now

$25 for a game that has been remade twice is grand larceny.

I liked it when i first got on steam but would probably find it really boring if i played it now. Its a neat little walking sim where you start in the same place every time and theres a bunch of different branching paths to take that lead to a different ending. Like other anons said the fun part comes from the narrator, i stood in a room for a while just looking for secrets and the narrator started giving me shit for not doing what he told me to do. Its like an hour or 2 long to get all the endings.

>12 endings in the original game
I thought there was 19.

This is.

the game mentions persona 3 and I was so confused about that choice of all games

It’s because the dev is an emo faget
