I refuse to purchase anything else made by Team Ladybug until I've already pirated it and assured the quality myself. After being burned two times in a row I no longer trust them. Literally all they have is good sprites.

This, but I always end up liking em fine. They're just way too short to drop the cash on without trying them first

it's $13. You're gonna spend more than that on your next mcdonalds meal anyway

you didnt like tohou luna nights or deedlit?

No.

I'm not into shmups but at the same time I've been wanting to dip my toes in the genre, if that makes sense. This game caught my attention somehow, I wonder if it would a good starting point.

You're expecting a game with solid gameplay AND sprites of that quality for less than $15-20? These fags gotta eat man

for what it's worth, people in the know seem to say this is on the gentler side of shmups as far as difficulty so you won't be having your balls crushed off the bat. Being able to temporarily absorb enemy fire probably helps get through the game.

haven't played it yet but it looks pretty neat. And yeah, this came out of nowhere. No marketing or buzz whatsoever??

>Literally all they have is good sprites.
That's true for the most part but holy fuck why was Sakuya's walk cycle so bad?

Been playing it off and on all day. It's easily their best game so far.

Because they were trying to emulate Alucard's exaggerated walk cycle without outright copying it.

Luna Nights was good. What'd you get burned by?

nope. never, ever going to play a shmup with progression like that. i'd rather play any other game with bullet eating

Looks cool. The soundtrack seems to be pretty aces too.

I don't typically care for such systems in shmups either, but ultimately it ends up just being a Gradius style custom loadout that they ration out.
