Find a flaw

It's shit

Only zoomers use this shit. Cope and seethe.

Trannyarch

>no decent ps2/xbox/gc cores
it's trash

>*literally saves gaming*
How so? 90% of Retroarch banks off of already existing emulators to provide the cores it uses.

>too retarded to use separate emulators
ngmi

this is literally like the only flaw but that might change in the future.

Reminder there is NO alternative for the dozens of features RetroArch offers, and you WILL be missing out on them all if you get filtered by being too stupid to figure it out (reminder: you only need to learn RetroArch once and it's the same for dozens of platforms and consoles)

People use it for the
>consolidated UI and settings for hundreds of different emulators instead of relearning layout and hotkeys for every single emulator
>run-ahead tech to reduce input lag to compensate for modern displays, or make it even lower than native hardware if you want
>full rebinding for every game
>VRR, BFI, and sync to exact framerate (for example, can match exact framerate of a game, whether it is 54fps like Raiden Fighters Jet, or 61.68fps like TGM)
>huge amount of shaders, filters, and overlays
>audio customization and level
>unlimited save states with save state thumbnails, undo save state/undo load state, pause, rewind, fast-forward, frame advance
>cheat support
>network play
>50+ different hotkeys with full rebinding and hotkey mode toggle
>Retro achievements that are uncheatable with an optional hardcore mode to disable save states, cheats, pause, rewind, and fast forward
>some cores are literally more up-to-date than standalone or don't even exist as standalone and are the best way to emulate those respective consoles (Genesis Plus GX, MupenN64Plus-Next, Beetle PCE, Beetle PSX, etc.)
>being able to set any aspect ratio or refresh rate
>Rotation/TATE support (can rotate just the game, or both the game and the UI)
>recording, screenshots, and streaming
and being able to save ALL OF THESE, as well as specific core options and global settings, on a per-game, per-core, per-directory, and global basis. That means each and every game can have its own rebindings, shaders, volume and audio settings, run-ahead level, core and core options, rotation, aspect ratio, etc

There is literally no reason to use anything else to play gen 5 and earlier

they should just make a normal windows gui for the the thing for the retards so they stop complaining

I hope so. I like playing with shaders and borders and would like to have a decent PCSX2 core to play with. I know it's possible to just use reshade or whatever with standalone emulators but I'd prefer to have every system under RA

Well that was quick.
Usually takes longer for the retroarc trannypasta to arrive.

already exists
press f5 in retroarch and desktop menu will pop up

your post explains exactly why retroarch filters zoomers and idiots

Trannies hate RetroArch because of what they did to the bsnes tranny and the mGBA tranny

This is designed for zoomers and idiots. I think you are just butthurt because they laughed you out of the PCSX2 thread.

What do you mean "filters"? It's made to be babbu's first and easiest emulation system

Fpbp

already know about that and that thing is trash, it'll actually crash and hang if you add a large amount of roms to the library, i dont use it tho i use the xmb

It's literally made to be the most customizable, feature-rich, and in-depth all in one frontend out there. If you just want to simply play a couple games, a standalone is much easier.

Soulless. I'm sticking with a real emulator.

The only real downside is not having updated cores.

Shader integration alone is worth it.
