i love this ost a ton

It's such a shame that Nintendo started shifting away from Miis after finally starting to hit strides with them. I'd kill for a Miitopia or Tomodachi 2 with new ideas and improvements.

i love miis so much its unreal
i wish they were in more games
its really cool to be able to have one consistent avatar across multiple games
whether you want to make that avatar be you, a character you made up, or a character from literally anything

The Miitopia Mii Editor is something I wish we would've received a lot sooner for regular Miis
Made me genuinely enjoy making unique characters
If they continue to stick around, I hope the editor becomes a staple

Thank you for reminding me to remove the word blacklist so all my Mii's can start cursing.

they had a bit of it with the "relationship to you" thing but that was really barebones
also the ability to make miis start in relationships

So is this game similar to Animal Crossing but with Miis or what?

you make a bunch of miis and they all live in a huge apartment
sometimes they will have something to talk to you about
maybe they had a fight with someone, maybe they want to play a game with you, or any number of things
when you talk to them you usually get money to buy clothes and stuff for your miis
the fun of it comes from making miis of your friends, family, celebrities, or fictional characters and interacting with them and seeing how their relationships develop
there are also a bunch of fun little things like being able to have your miis form bands and sing songs and being able to play a mini rpg with your miis as the main characters and a bunch of other stuff

Absolutely. I think general consensus would agree that there should be a toggle to allow gay relationships for certain characters, but I barely see people talk about family relations. There are so many famous families among both celebrities and fictional characters. Only being able to link characters directly to yourself is such a peculiar restriction.

This is a tricky one. On one hand, having too much control would take away a lot of the Miis' individual personalities. On the other, I do agree there should absolutely be some way to at least push certain relationships harder. Maybe a box of chocolates item that you can give as a gift and lie that it came from another Mii, for example. Would be good if you have a certain relationship you really want to happen.

Not really. There's some similar appeal in how you interact with the Miis, but the gameplay and tone are both very distinct from Animal Crossing. In AC, you are one villager among the others and focus on doing mundane activities. In Tomodachi, you are basically a benevolent god in comparison to the Miis.

the box of chocolates idea is really good

id like more customizability in clothing rather than it just being hats and outfits
also i think the mirror item should be a toggle rather than an item
i would always give my miis the mirror as their first item since i wanted them to be able to wear whatever they wanted
also an item to force a mii to like a certain food would be good
it sucks if you make a fictional character who loves a certain food and they dont like it in game
though to use it youd have to have found their favorite food first and it would replace that one
