Extravagance is not a good target since you should assume that the opponent is always ready to combo off regardless. Ashing a Pot card or Upstart Goblin is only good if the opponent already bricked horribly. With Extravagance it's even worse because it's always going to be the first card the opponent activates if they have it so you won't know what their situation is.
