The Xenoblades exist, but that's probably because a lot of the devs on the team worked on 4th and 5th generation JRPGs. 1's just a classic shonen manga adventure but as a modern JRPG and 2's just a modern campy shovelware 5th gen JRPG but modernized.

Grandia and yes, it's worth playing.
I like BoF4 better myself, but you should play both, if you like JRPGs. Grandia 2 as well, by the way. And BoF3. BoF1-2 aren't bad either.
The PS2 version of Tales of Destiny (Director's Cut). There's a fan translation, but no idea in what state it is now. I played it almost a year ago and there were many parts that were machine translated and waiting for editing. They may have finished by now.
At the very least it was playable and in most cases comprehensible, so I imagine it should be even better one year later.
