With how Marie is written. I really hope she was written with intent to act like a self-insert character and everyone just missed the joke.

the fact that it's labelled "party member" makes me think that a lot of people didn't vote for their waifu, they voted for who's best in battle. that's the only reason I can think of as to why P3 characters are so low compared to P4, especially Mitsuru. Mitsuru should at least be higher than Ann and Haru, but because she's shit in battle I'm guessing a lot of people didn't know it was a waifu poll and felt they couldn't vote for her.
