they all probably fell for the "this is going to be exciting on paper!" meme but then got hit with brick wall called reality and realized they don't want this and lost interest but since they promised everyone and hyped it up they feel obligated to deliver but it will be obviously a mediocre game at best.

That's why indie games should never take longer than one year to develop.
Unless you are going to reuse your engine and/or framework for sequels that's the absolute maximum.
I bet all of these guys are going to fucking chuck all their gameplay code into the garbage bin instead of reusing it in a slightly adapted way.
I could legitimately see bowlbo's basic architecture (if it is good) being reused for a type of Goemon: Mystical Ninja series (the old snes ones).
But that's probably not happening.
Not if you have indie game airheads with no business sense leading the project.

I don't get those two fags, they complain that being on a let's play channel ruined their lives. Then spend years trying to make their own stream site, good luck I guess but it seems like its just going to be a huge waste of time. The people that give them money on Patreon must be a little let down. I thought they have some Halloween game releasing soon, whatever happened to that?
