>Best and most consistently high quality Job Quests
DRG and DRK are both better

kill yourselves

I like Black Mage but the quests were terrible.
White Mage is great and the quests are good, but it’s not very stylish and most outfits suck unless you’re female.
Dark Knight had good or okay quests, but the attacks are all variations of the same thing and the outfits are awful.
Samurai was good in all respects, but not quiet as good as Red Mage.
Paladin plays well, looks good, but the quests suck.
Blue Mage had a great story and lots of style, but the gameplay is entirely about damage windows and feels limp outside it.
Bard had style but only okay quests.

I could go on, nothing matches up to RDM.

I haven’t played DRG yet, so no comment there, but DRK is definitely not consistent. 30-50 was good, 50-60 was a huge roller coaster of quality, and 60-70 was terrible until the last 3 or so. When it hits it hits well, but there’s plenty of low points too, and the duties are either boring or complete ass, nothing as good as the RDM ones.

DRK probably ranks third for me, after SAM. I’ll be glad if DRG is that good though.

I'm tired of pretending that black mage is such a gigabrain job compared to the other magic dps, all 3 are pressing the same few buttons over and over and most content either doesn't ask you to move that much or blm has enough instants to cover it because all the advanced dps optimization shit you're """supposed""" to spend it on is only viable at max level

RDM sucks fr fr no cap

Only thing I wanted to know from the story is if the planet was alive or not and if that keening sound was something other than meteion

DRK's story went to shit after the first set of quests. Once the faggy lizard shows up it's all over.

lorewise whats the point of red mage if you got godtier aether control + massive aether reservoir ? Let's say you are basically a demi-god that got shit ton of aether and can use any combat style, why wouldn't you just stick with normal BLM and white magic ?

RDM is cringe and looks cringe. Bardchads where you at

Isn’t that exactly what the RDM quest talks about? Someone who can do that becomes absolutely unstoppable as a RDM, but humans (at least normal humans) can’t.

BLMs and WHMs use ambient aether, RDMs is all internal, so the more of a powerhouse you are internally, the better you are. The WoL makes for a godlike RDM, and must be even better after SHB. Zenos would likely be an incredible one too, if he had the discipline for it.

I though BLMS and WHM are capable of using internal aether as long as they got shitton of aether themselves.

>lorewise whats the point of red mage if you got godtier aether control + massive aether reservoir ?
The point is that RDM is WoL's strongest job by far, because you can accelerate your massive aether reserves to BLM/WHM levels easily AND the magic that comes out is even more buffed up by the top tier quality of your aether on top of that.

There’s nothing complicated about the BLM rotation, in fact it’s quite simple. If you showed a new player their skillset, they would approximate something MUCH closer to the BLM rotation than they would the BRD one, because it’s all clear cause and effect.

The difficulty comes in how tight the timings you have you manage are, and how punishing it is if you mess up. Honestly, that’s something they’ve eased up on a LOT with the introduction of Paradox, since it makes life much easier in Frost and doesn’t eat up an Umbral Heart so Fire doesn’t have you work as hard to maximise Fire4. But it’s still a case where every movement, every adjustment and every mistake is punished in a way that other classes just aren’t.

Compare dropping Enochian to misbalancing White and Black. You lose one (1) proc, and have a chance to just get it anyway.

I am this close to taking the solo Heaven-on-High pill. I just worry about how stressed I might get on the higher floors.

They surely are, otherwise how would they get more powerful outside of being better at drawing in ambient aether I suppose? But that’s not the core function of their job or their focus. You never hear about them being masters at controlling their aether or at having strong aether themselves, it’s always about how controlled and clever they were at managing aether. Shantotto was brilliant, rather than something like Zenos.

Do it. Best titles in the game are the PotD and HoH ones.

moomy booba thighs

>The point is that RDM is WoL's strongest job by far
That’s a really cool idea to play with, and it’s probably true. RDM makes perfect use of the fact that WoL is more “complete” than anyone else.

I suppose you could argue the same for the physical jobs though, since they all use aether. DRG, MNK, NIN, DRK, WAR and PLD all seem like ideal fits.

why are xiv threads so bad now?

why are xiv threads so good now?

I always hear that RDM and MCH are the best for trying to spring for titles, but I'm not sure if I'd prefer to try MCH or one of the tanks for climbing to the top. The tanks seem like they'd be nice for durability, but from what I've heard the time crunch gets really harsh for them.

why are now?

Alisaie is 16 you freaks
god you pedos sicken me

>yfw the voidsent RDM in the quests is LITERALLY a proto-Reaper, right down to the spell effects and siphoning the essence from his enemies

why

I queued for MSQ roulette and got Ultima, van Baelsar tells Lahabrea "Speak plainly Ascian" in the cutscene that follows the first pull, so I write "speak quickly ascian or go away" in the party chat, and my zoomer party side eyes me are like bruh dis dude straight cappin fr on god and are /laughing. Man, these kids don't know about the classics like The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Why is the Void (13th) so important?

Because it was consumed by the Void.

Attached: 1629778493671.png (1916x1805, 2.6M)

Based
Highest ranking void sent are scary and can destroy stars easily

Bros why is 14 so fucking trash compared to 11?

>The Flood and Void aren't aether corruptions, they're calamities from a being the Acsians were goading

I guess this makes sense.
