What are Any Forums's favorite single-player FPS series?

do you like nu doom? what about the the movies?

i like 2016,love eternal,and dislike DOOM 3 (but it doesn't drag it down enough to not be my favorite series overall).
and im not watching the movies beyond the 2 minute first person part that people actually liked.

Half Life or Doom. but for individual titles it would be Unreal 1 and FEAR 1 for me. The sequels to those games suck hard so I can't pick them as a series. I also love the MechWarrior and Descent series if those count.

The series closest to my heart is Wolfenstein since I grew up with Wolf 3D and RTCW as my first two FPS games. Quality-wise for an entire series, it's Doom of course.
