I'm not sure whether I sucked at this game as a kid or if I was just really good at cheesing it. On the level with the Pod Race track, is it even possible to go talk to Watto like you're supposed to without following the droid who tells you to wait while they go ask? Otherwise he just says no and she blocks your path. Same for the guy who refuses to let you down into the audience stand which you can then jump off, run across the track, and go talk to Anakin later.
There is also that ATT tank at the end of the Theed level sitting in front of the gate. To open the gate you have to force push two switches on either side of said gate but if the ATT destroys the pillars on either side you cannot get high or close enough to push them from what I remember. Was I just a dumbass as a kid and missing something?

Even before that too, in the late 90s "high def" VHS release of the OT buildup to Episode I. Star Wars became a cultural force again around 1995-96 and continued an unheard of winning streak for a good decade, until the aftermath of III and Star Wars began to fade from people's radar once again around 2006.
These earlier games are all dogshit by modern standards, but they were endless entertainment at the time.

a good way around it would be to just do what they should've done in the first place, which is jump like 1000 years into the future and do something entirely new that doesn't rely on the old movies. but we know they won't, can't cash in on all them sweet nostalgia bux if they don't. nuWars is fucked, I like talking about the old video games and original trilogy, but anything new for the franchise since TLJ is 100% discardable and I don't give a fuck about any of it.

I'm not, fuck him. He may have been better than Disney but he still ruined the original movies by making the special editions the only commercially available versions and then fucking up the prequels (besides III). I would give him the good video game era, but I think that's less due to him and more due to the time they were made. It's not Disney stopping good mid budget video games being made, it's the fact that there are no non-mobileshit licensed games anymore at all.
