God that looks uncomfortable as shit.

Post 1CCs with proof or fuck off.

Absolute unit that lad

jesus that looks unergonomic as the fuck

Hot take, top down shoot em ups never should have left the arcade, they're only suitable for 60 second bursts or, if you've got the cash to actually clear the game, no more than 15 minutes.
It's like complaining that there aren't enough Star Fox knockoffs on the market, as if anyone wants that

What game? Looks fun

so you're saying shmups should've died with the arcade?

>says this while posting tranime

It's a gameplay style that isn't suited to home console play in the same way a game like Donkey Kong or Pac Man shouldn't be a retail release (DK94 gets a pass because it becomes a puzzle platformer later)
Anime website etc, I don't even watch these days I just post reaction pics

Lmao. Fuck off and die btw.

>says this while posting on anime website

if it isn't suited for home console play why do people keep making and buying them?

Shmups (and arcade games in general) are meant to be replayed and mastered similar to multiplayer games.

How about a no item clear of Impossible Spell Card?

Is arrange mode harder or easier than arcade mode?

No proof + tranny game

autokill

People "buy" leisure suit larry games but that doesn't make porn games a sustainable or successful genre, shmups are kept alive by touhoufags who are delusional enough to think their oc donut steel would get into smash
Multiplayer games provide dynamic, ever changing experiences. What you're describing sounds more like high score chasing, and that's gone the way of the dodo, replaced by speedrunning, and shmups are on tracks and aren't really viable for that kind of play

Retarded take

Literally no one gives a fuck about Touhou, and 99% of the community is secondaries. kill yourself you ugly slovenly fuck

they are meant to suck out quarters from kids. thats the whole reason why games back then were so much harder. because thats the monetization model. if a game was so easy anyone could beat it on their first try youd have a game that generates practically no revenue. if you want more money, make the game way harder but still fun. that way a player has only two options to see the later sections of a game or beat it if its not an infinite highscore game. you either pay more money for more continues, playing into the hands of the cabinet owners or you just git gud. playing a shmup at home isnt nearly as exiting because there are no stakes. you cant decide, do i pay a little more to continue or do i give up for today and play something else.
early console ports of arcade games were the worst because the entire design philosophy around an arcade game simply doesnt work on a system you yourself own as well as the game. thats why those quickly phased out of existence to make way for actual home console or handheld video games that were designed around being easy enough that people are willing enough to drop over 60$ even back then for a game. imagine going in an arcade in the 80s or 90s and just putting 60$ worth of stocks in a single machine you havent played before.

I don't like the monetization model of arcades either, but the games themselves are usually very solid. There are tons of arcade games that are classics and have no modern equivalent.

Disagree, this is Trophy mentality talking. I play a lot of arcade-style games and think it's a lot of fun getting better at them for its own sake
