Pizza but thick. Crust is denser and more flaky with a lot of butter. Cheese goes directly on the crust along with any "toppings" and the sauce goes on top.

It's really more like eating a casserole than a slice of pizza, but I kinda like em.

Daily reminder that while deep dish is nice, it's a complete meme and the most popular style of pizza in Chicago is actually thin crust party cut pizza.
