all that yabbaring about how they love Dark Souls for it's cruching difficulty? It's put into a test here. Do you really enjoy challenges or are you just there for the meme? You can't play MonHun without patience and dedication.
The hitboxes are shit, the quality of life improvement are not here yet, you have a selection of weapons that doesn't include the Switch Axe, Insect Glaive or charge blade.
Nowadays this game is a relic from the past and you need to be a hardcore fan to really take the challenge.
In ither words; it's not for you, and that's ok. You can go back to your Dark Souls 2 now.

The older series can be frustrating, even the new ones at times, but the fun comes from sticking with it and gaining a "mastery" at the game. Going on successful hunts, farming the right gear and items, making sure you have the build you want, etc, is very rewarding and fun. Each game has great depth of combat too that only gets better as the series goes on.
