Earl access is the next level of preorder. Just another method to get your money for an unfinished product and have an excuse to not fix bugs ever.

My dude, if a developer or publisher wants to drip feed you content, you can't do anything about it. No Man's Sky launched "complete" yet it took a godless amount of expansions to make it an actual playable game. Same with Fallout 76, that game didn't have fucking NPCs and was just a shitty Rust clone with audio tapes and notes scattered around. In order to unmake such practive you would need to unmake internet itself, so we're stuck with shitty unfinished games.
