Play dawn of war and expansions. Soulstorm needs mods
Play dawn of war 2. Honestly I was meh on their expansions.
Play space marine.
Play space hulk, but the old turn based version not the EYE guys version
Hired gun is okay, if Hank incarnate
Congrats, you have played every good 40k game. Now play space hulk for the beautiful levels and no other reason
Fuck games workshop by the way
>A-anything for the great powers!
You forgot:
>both Battlefleet Gothics
>Battlesector
Is good if you get it for cheap or pirate it
>Mechanicus
Only gripe is that it's more simplistic than battlesector but is an overall higher quality game
Can't think of any others
Don't give money to GW
Good point. Though I'd lean more any just getting 2 and going back to 1 if you want more.
I never played them myself but I've heard nothing but praise so it wasn't on my mind.and yes, never give GW money
>Dark Crusade
Cool campaign, great narrator and even banter between the enemy commanders during stronghold missions as well as some dialogue during special maps
>Soulstorm
Better gameplay aside from worthless flier units, but absolutely soulless campaign with no banter between units and re-used assets for Dark Eldar and SoB.
What happened?
Was really excited at the idea of Daemonhunters. I barely see any discussion about it online and it barely got any publicity at all. Is it actually bad or is it a sleeper?
I've watched a shitload of Skallagrim mod for Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 on youtube, and I have to say it's some pretty fucking gay shit. Maybe two of the ships I've seen are cool and the rest are just fucking stupid.
Relic wasn't doing Soulstorm, and the devs who were in the job got bankrupted mid-production.
Well, that explains a great deal if you are bankrupted midway. Still, I like Soulstorm despite its flaws.
I don't know what the devs were thinking having units get a what, 90-95% miss chance if moving while firing in DC.
as the other guy mentioned, the new studio went through some giga development hell so it turned out funky, especially with that one glitch that outright broke MP for months and by the time they patched it the damage was done
>RTS had the best Voice Acting at one point
>Racing games had the best soundtracks at one point
>shooters were the most innovative at one point
I want to go back
from the (albiet very limited) things I have seen discussed about it, my understanding is that it is an alright game, nothing stand outish from it but not bad per say, if you enjoy xcom and 40k it might be worth it though I should stress again I haven't really delved into reviews or saw that much gameplay of it so for all I know it could just be another shit cashgrab
WE ARE THE DESTROYAH
He was such a bro...
has there been any mention on what happened to Tarkus, Cyrus, and Thaddeus after DoW2
