In truth the community was always on a downward slope but it degraded to such a point that the only people that still play it are so entrenched that they are hostile to anyone who isn't as good or better than they are. Part of me wishes they had killed it for good when Quake Champions was released.

Man I wish I found this game out sooner. Litterally the best WW2 shooter I've ever played. The sounds of machine guns and the cracks of rifles is so fucking amazing. I found it around 2020.
The 5th year anniversary gave it a little bit of life back for a week and that was it.
