i've been using the wolves
pretty cool because you get 3 wolves
they usually just die but they sometimes run around for a little bit
you can upgrade them but i don't bother with it
i actually don't put any points to increase FP either so i pretty much use it all on just one summon of the wolves that do no damage

I've been doing base level +1 somber/+3 smithing runs since the game came out, and Latenna is probably the only way a base level Samurai with a +1/+3 weapon is going to beat some bosses. Aside from that Dung Eater.
