These, with a chao garden, and actual fun non-boost Sonic gameplay, and a friend or two alternate gameplay stages that don't suck. Also, follow the tradition of introducing a new character or two, and bringing back a couple old ones (just not everybody). Maybe "SA3" implied all that, but you can't really count on Sonic Team to get it right.
