some gucci dayz-ish mod obviously, miltism is not really my thing

Honestly, I just want an engine that runs well
If we got that, it would slowly become a 10/10 game thanks to mods

Unreal engine 5

Movement that doesn't feel like absolute dogshit
Intelligent AI enemies and allies instead of buggy, glitchy aimbots
A physics engine for once, so you dont pop a tire, flip and explode destroying half the island because you hit a 0.1 meter high wire fence.

Oh, and a true futuristic setting.

No futurism, Arma 3 was a turn off after Arma 2. Disliked the new Island too.

DayZ runs really well now, they made the swap to this new engine Arma Reforge/4 are using.
Movement is also my #1. Arma 3 feels clunky in the worst ways to want a military sim to feel clunky.

I want one fictional map with multiple interesting biomes in a tight area. Snow, sand, forest, plains, towns, cities, ect.

The map they made while realistic was just beyond boring. A flat shitty hell hole of repeating assets.
