>"why is jap game so Japanese?"
Gee user, who fucking knows why?

why are you so... gay and stupid?

People like you give me a headache.

There's Japanese and then there's having a bunch of :D mouth Touhou fairies and a queen with twintails

Ask Shimomura about it

sorry

It's really neat how expressive the characters are.

Also hilarious how a fairy queen is a clumsy nerd in pigtails and glasses.

sakurai didn't make this one.

Sakurai didn’t work on Kirby 64.
He didn’t work on any of the Dark Matter games.

They also suspiciously lack any appearances of Meta Knight. Did the director dislike him?

huh?
so that's why it's good

>best character designs

As good as the GBA games were, if the cancelled GC game had happened and steered the series' future towards what this game started, I'd take that timeline.

didn't that GC game just got retooled into Return to Dream Land?

Not possible, because Shimomura went on to direct Nightmare in Dreamland which straight up adds a playable Meta Knight.
Maybe he and the writers just couldn’t fit him in the games.

Meta Knight while in Adventure and Super Star wasn't really that prominent of a character until the 2000s.

And the aprt where you hit Mewtwo with an Isekai truck isn't?
