The PsP one was pretty repetitive and recycled most if not the entire OST from previous games. Controlled surprisingly well considering it didn't use any joysticks.
Can't say anything about Forever since I couldn't get it to emulate properly.

Katamari Forever is actually a decent love letter to the series, with some remixes on the standard content compelling enough to hold your attention. Good music too. Shame it's forever trapped on the PS3.
