She looks a million times better in terms of body, outfit, and face. In Dissidia her face is a perfect balance of cute and mature while in the remake she just looks like an uncanny valley hapa with a lot of straight-up "ayy lmao" facial expressions. I guess it's just the result of Dissidia having an actual art style while the remake looks extremely generically photorealistic.

Advent Children looks way better in terms of art style to me. The characters still looked accurately stylized while in the remake they look a bit too realistic and uncanny valley.

Nomura is just way too obsessed with realism. I get that he wants to appeal more to westerners and mainstream audiences but this sort of push for it just makes a lot of characters look really uncanny and weird in the process. In Advent Children and Crisis Core Cloud looked like a proper seinen bishounen anime protagonist while in the remake he kind of just looks like a discord femboy.
