We're playing on the 1.3 Beta again this week. Here's how you switch to it without accidentallying your install: - Copy your 1.2.5 folder somewhere else, just in case - Delete all files in BallisticNG\User\Cache\Tracks - Switch to the 1.3 Beta via Steam properties -> betas
Don't know what you're talking about. There's a relatively surprising amount of new players that roll in and stick around, so it's not like a new guide is really needed. Unless there's a decent amount of people that download it, try it solo, and then give up, but if they did so, then it's just not their kind of game, and a better guide wouldn't have really made a difference.
Not like a better guide could be made anyways. It's just simple racing. At best, you could merge in the stuff people have posted in the past in regards to chicanes, 90s, and hairpins, but there's a limited number of tracks that really have those anyways.

Hello?

>simple racing >Wipeout People definitely have an hard time with those controls, not saying the guide is bad or anything but it could explain a little bit more
Bentley Anderson
Yeah it is simple. You go nyoooom and you try to make the turns and sometimes the turns are kinda hard because of momentum n' shit, but it's a rather simple set of mechanics that you just spend a lot of time getting the feel for. It being simple and straightforward doesn't mean it isn't hard as shit and an engaging challenge to get a grasp of those simple mechanics in more and more intense scenarios, but it's still simple at the end of the day.

it used to be, I think it's on ovagames or >igggames atm though
Whole genre is dying honestly. This game releases next week and absolutely no one gives a shit (except me probably) People just want muh Fzero, which has less chances to get a new entry the more people ignore everything else in the genre.
You still find based people on Any Forums playing those games and that's all that matter
is redout good? never played grav racing, want to get into the genre is redout 1 a good game? audiosurf was nostalgic tho, reminds of the time itunes was still a thing(even if it's not considered grav-racing)

Update 1.3 is broken, von broke the game unfortunately
Ayden Parker
I think people aren't joining because 1.3 is busted and people can't play
Redout 2 has no reason to exist beyond money. Redout = soul, 2 = soulless.
Aaron Thompson
How does Redout feel to play user?
Kevin Wright
Redout 1 might be the weirdest one yet honestly, I wouldn't recommend it.
