yes, the most vocal part of the community(so basically THE community) is filled with the worst of the different online communities.

It affects the game too, as these fucking people will forgive the devs for any wrongdoing as long as they can glamour/gpose because that's apparently "the real endgame", so they can fuck up or miss the mark for months on end and it's fine because the developers cry or some shit, but the second there are weekly lockouts on raids and they can't get the gear they want immediately, THAT'S the problem.

On top of this, the whole group has this blatant fake positivity, and if you go against it you'll be ostracized from whatever group you are participating in, or you will be targeted for removal.

I've been playing since 2014 and don't engage with people at all, except for random PFs where obviously you will get in contact with retards from time to time. It's very enjoyable to play it like this.
