Breath of the Wild 2 will NOT release until Nintendo has a new console to shill. BotW had nearly a 1:1 attach rate with the OG Switch and Nintendo even announced themselves that migration to a new console is an absolute worry for them, mainly because of the momentum the Switch gave them after the abysmal sales of the Wii U. This is the only way an asset flip like this is taking so long. They want to maximize the effect of the only other nuke they have.

Not exactly, normally it'll check for collision but a fairly complex emulator only glitch was pulled off, that's why there are weapons strewn about all around it and the other Bokoblin isn't animating properly.

It's native hardware, it happens on any switch.

BOTW is the evolution of the "Zelda formula".

Instead of gating the item accessibility to "one dungeon at a time" and having limited use, they are introduced at once and an integral part of the approach to encounters and puzzles throughout the entire game.
Same way shrines take the dungeon mechanics and spread them throughout the world to fuse the two elements Zelda was about to a much better and palatable experience that removes the discrepancy between dungeons and overworld.
And the entire approach to the game is giving players the choice in how much they want to engage with all of that, rather than being gated, which is unprecedented freedom.
Not to mention that its approach to hearts and inventory management(koroks) is genius in how it allows each player to find what they need, no matter their playstyle.
