Stranger

What were the journos' problems with the plot? It's pretty damn straightforward and it's not even really that goofy.

They probably didn't play Final Fantasy 1 and didn't even know what Warriors of Light meant. I thought it was a pretty easy plot to understand too.

Dunno, no one actually reads the reviews as people are just watching the metacritic rating

I don't think many of them even paid the plot any attention, the only one I thought DID said they liked the characters but they didn't get enough screen time that wasn't through battle chatter.

this

If it isn't pretentious ass-picking, incredibly basic that a child could follow it, or poorly put together lgbt crap it is goofy. Goofy just means "I couldn't get into it due my own biases".

t. ex-games "journalist"

It really isn't once you play it for more than first few stages. And it's only "goofy" because post-ironic ADHD zoomers like you that had their brain fried can't wait for stuff to make sense and need everything NOW NOW NOW.

> he's okay with another 0 imagination plot
your taste is trash, 4chud

Any torrent of the v1.02 patch?

On that note, does anyone else think it's kind of bullshit for a 4/5 to translate to an 80 on Metacritic? To me those are very different scores

don't care.

it's almost as goofy as shadow the hedgehog game. sadly not goofy enough to become cult classic

It sounds like they genuinely didn't play the game at all past the demo. The few "goofy" parts are fit into context at the time and for the characters as established (yes, even the bullshit scene), and the game is littered with clear foreshadowing that hints at and explains the overarching plot and adds intrigue, without even getting into the lore missives you can find.

Yeah good to know you didn't play it and are a memespouting idiot that only knows first trailer or scenes from first three levels of the game. There's literally zero memes in second half of the game and the plot goes full on somber and poignant.

dunno if it's legit but

Ok nomura.

4 is 80% of 5.

It's legit, fun fact, it was me who posted it.

No, it was me.

Why the fuck are you in this thread just to shitpost? Are you the same retard posting the "murder against white people" pasta shitting up every SoP thread?

didn't know that you get epic dark knight by watching trailers

yea, 4/5 is a game close to perfect with a few flaws while 80% is just another game game

math is hard

Honestly it starts out incredibly boring, half the dialog is just them grunting at each other, and shit just feels jank with stuff like the town NPC dialog shit where it has to load in a 3D model in a town square to say literally nothing of value. I doubt journos bothered to get to the story paying off. You just start the game, look around and see that every single facet of it feels lackluster, know that things will probably remain that way, and slap a 7/10 on it and you've done your job for the month.

Thank you user, I love you

it is, 4/5 is one point away from being perfect while 80/100 is 20 points away

yet they're still equal, what a world

Don't thank me, I just stole the link from csrin forums.

His point is that human perception of them isn't the same, despite them mathematically being the same.

Is that his point

Thank you for pinching it from them, though for some strange reason I never had the 100% CPU use glitch on v1.01.

it's in a subgenre of ARPG that isn't casual friendly(despite is having an extremely lenient casual difficulty), the overall tone and story are very campy and is an acquired taste, lastly the graphics are "dated" and the performance is spotty because it's unoptimized(like most games nowadays unfortunately).

Game is fun, I love camp so I enjoyed it, held back by the ARPG/Nioh formula though, should've broken out a bit more.

I have absolutely no idea what I should be spending my extra job points on. I'm afraid of misallocating points. Can anyone give tips?
