What are the best necromancer games? I'm talking raising legions, LEGIONS! of undead to conquer and strike fear in the hearts of men. I want to be an evil scythe welding skeleton and I want to spread rot and disease across the mortal world. I want black skies and green fire and loads of skulls. I want a button to cackle while my hoard of aids skeletons rape through the village near my lair. I want to make giant fleshy abominations out of the bodies of my victims. I want to become a lich and live forever!

Conquest of Elysium and Dominions might amuse you. Both by Illwinter.
heroes of might and magic 3
also the homm mod for mount and blade warband, chronicles of might and magic (comm)
Necromancer by endmaster
not a video game but a choose your own adventure game - and about exactly what you want
Iratus is an inferior Darkest Dungeon clone where you play the bad guy. It's an ok game.
Total War Warhammer allows you to play as Vampire C(o)unts and they can drown the world in free skeleton armies.
I fucking loved this shit. Why are all fantasy authors afraid of fun? If I wanted a deep and meaningful philosophy I'd go read Dostoyevsky or something. This unabashed power wank really hits the spot.
Path of Exile. Dwarf Fortress adventure mode.
Tales of Maj'Eyal 4 if you can stomach roguelikes
geneforge
total warhammer 1/2 has not one but three undead factions, them being vampire counts (and Kemmler who is an actual Necromancer) who are what you'd call a traditional undead faction, vampire coast pirates who are basically vampirates and Tomb Kings who are basically undead egyptians with no vampires
Hope you have fun user
Diablo 2?
Also this. Tome’s necro is sick
Man, a lot of good taste coming out of the woodwork in this thread. I knew there was a reason I still came here.
Come on... i mean even that dude?
Recommend more.
Liches are by far the coolest fantasy monsters. It's like every other creature in a fantasy setting becomes less cool just by liches being there. It's insane.
Because they are masters of the most powerful force humans know of. They cheated and control the one law all life is bound to. Everything else is just a beast in comparison.
Aren't these the things in Darkwood
Good game. For reference OP a normal commander can lead something like 80 soldiers
>189 Mound Kings
>1153 Lictors
I like this guy's style
Battle for Wesnoth lol
still making it
give me some time
ok but what does GoT have to do with your game?
Diablo 2 and Heroes 3
Pathfinder of course.
