It's a shame that you didn't already have it ready to go. That Kan would not have saved them. I mean, you were 1 off, just a fucking South wind and you would have done it. It was never meant to be though, you have to have gobs and gobs of luck to pull off Kokushi Musou.

I did it with 4 effective draws back to back at the start of the round. Everyone was pissed

Wait, I forget, is Chankan only for upgrading a pon triplet to kan? Or can you do it from a closed kan too?

I just checked, I was right, Koukushi is the only exception for robbing. It doesn't matter if it's closed or not. Man, that has to sting.

Is this the best Mahjong game out right now? Havent played in a long time and Ive forgotten everything

yes, it has anime girls

>tfw too dumb for mahjong

>He isn't dumb and still plays it anyway.

No it's shit. The devs fuck with your winrate if you win too much. Nothing but tanyao until you reach like the highest league.

Go in and play with randoms instead of a gay ass ranked ladder and you'd have much more fun.

How do I learn to play Riichi Mahjong? The only introductory course I had is Clubhouse Games on Switch a while ago, I need something similar but more

the lobby nyagger

Watch Akagi lol

Don't they use some made up version of Mahjong? Feel like it's not gonna help me much if I already got no context for the game.

No they play Riichi Mahjong. If you know the basic rules you'll be fine. The rest of the rules will come to you as you play a couple games online.

I have never seen a yakuman. I got in a position once where I was in tenpai with a 2 tile wait, one of which would give me a suuankou but all four of that tile had been accounted for. That's the closest I've ever come.

You see one every 100 games or so, they're not too uncommon. The other night there were 2 in a friendly game I was in.
