Perfect franchises that got killed by a shit sequel
Jace Fisher
Michael James
dark souls
Carter White
which one killed it for you bro
Jayden Gutierrez
Your statement does not make sense. If the franchise was perfect, then it should not have had shit sequel, nor should it have been killed by it.
Anthony Robinson
>uh ackshually I have a little chinese cartoon picture so um like yeah
ok man have a nice day
Nathan Murphy
First time I laugh from Any Forums this year. Thanks user.
Josiah Martinez
The franchise was always shit, Guerrilla have never made a good game.
Daniel Green
killzone 3 was bad, too.
Killzone 1 was nothign special
Killzone 2 was KINO
Cameron Hughes
Killzone 1 is not perfect by any means and was absolutely terrible. From the level design to the various characters that don't really feel much different unless you're using Rico it was an absolute mess. Don't even get me started on the hitscan, psychic Helghans, and terrible guns. Let's also not forget 2 and 3 shoving Rico down your throat as if he's not a complete retard in 2 and trying to justify him in 3 is even worse.
Ignoring all that, the fact that they keep shoving the ISF down your throat when they're easily the villains of the story while the Helghast are treated like garbage despite being written as if they've genuinely done nothing wrong and it gets even stupider. How Guerrilla Games thinks the ISF are the good guys and Helghast are the bad guys is beyond my understanding when they literally write the Helghast as sympathetic as possible and only a couple are genuinely bad people. Hell, even Rico had no argument and had to go full retard for the ending of 2 to happen.

Metroid. Other M fucked everything up. Took a long ass time until something decent came out again.
Justin Reyes
the only notable thing about the entire killzone franchise was K2's multiplayer. everything else in the franchise was worthless, minus maybe that opening cutscene that played on K2's boot
Jeremiah Peterson
Killzone 1 was cool. I'm sorry you had to write a bunch of words because it made you sad.
Brandon Martin
Mercenaries was one of the best Vita games and Liberation was a lot of fun. 3 also had the jetpack power armor thing and Shadow Fall had the spaceship level. Seriously, why have they not made a game like the spaceship level? It's exactly what I want just across multiple sections of a ship.
Luke Sullivan
I kinda miss Killzone. Shame that the Shadowfall multiplayer was garbage.
Thomas Harris
Shadowfall fucked up the controls. Didn't even play like Killzone anymore, just played like any other fps.
Matthew Sanders
Well yeah, no one uses L1/R1 for aiming and firing anymore. I think they still had legacy controls despite that and you still felt that input lag and bobbing when moving.
Carson Miller
You didn't use L1 for aim in KZ, you used R3, and Shadowfall got rid of cover mechanics and blindfire.
Jonathan Barnes
I honestly remember it being L1 but that's my bad then.
>and Shadowfall got rid of cover mechanics and blindfire.
I think Mercenaries didn't have it either but again, could be wrong.
Carson Campbell
could be, I never played Mercenaries.
Joshua Perez
but he's right how could a perfect franchise get kiled? how long was it perfect for before it got killed?
if it was killed after the first sequel it's not much of a franchise is it?

>how could a perfect franchise get kiled? how long was it perfect for before it got killed?
It was perfect up until it wasn't, and when it wasn't, it was so unperfect that they never made another one again. Idk what it is with Any Forumstards and arguing semantics like this cause they don't do shit like this on any other board, but here it's the focus of every single thread.
Luke Young
Silly user. There is only one videogame series that is perfect and it's:
