Are you hyped for classic WotLK Any Forums?

Are you hyped for classic WotLK Any Forums?

Also which classes/specs were the best?

>BM
>S Tier
Beast Mastery was a leveling spec in Wrath.

>3.3
>BM in S-tier

If you're raiding it's either Survival or MM

Death knights will be fomo.

i'm gonna guess they mean phase 1 (naxx, sarth, maly) with 3.3.5 patch but even then there's a bunch of weird placements and generalist charts just don't make sense.
For instance, Holy pala is absolutely elite god tier tank/spot healer in wotlk and you almost certainly want at least 1 (maybe 2), but going beyond that ends up being terrible because they have no aoe whatsoever. How do you demonstrate that on a tier chart?

whats the point of this shit, private servers exist and not filled with faggotry blizzard's servers are

fear of missing out? huh?

OP here, I was focusing mostly on gameplay and how fun they are to play (been playing years on private servers). I know prot paladins are technically the best tanks in the game but they're also boring as fuck.
Meanwhile, UDKs may not be the greatest DPS but in dungeons and raids they're great fun. When you manage to snapshot all your dots at the highest damage and spread them across the entire room you just pop off and it's glorious.

This. Private servers are objectively better than blizzshit.
Admittedly the whole scene is at a lowpoint at the moment. Barely any good servers.

Ok, having bear in F tier makes complete sense then
The strongest upside of wrath classic is that people running private servers can lift blizz code to iron out bugs and get things running more smoothly

>armor pen abusers
>not S tier

>private server has forced PvP enabled
>every zone is a gank fiasco
>ask why they add a pve server on the forum
>literally every reply in thread is a server simp defending ganking
You retailfags don't know how good you have it.

no I'm not excited for wrath. all the things people hate about retail are in wrath

>Ok, having bear in F tier makes complete sense then
Yeah, I tried tanking a couple of times in dungeons and it's fucking awful.
You need like endgame quality gear to get to that point, which is why fury isn't fun until you've cleared ICC heroic. People shit on me for showing up as arms but goddamn at least I can do some damage and buttons to push. Low geared fury feels like a goddamn joke.

Rogue for PvE, paladin for PvP and healing. Simple as that.

>Arcane
What were they thinking?

Wrath was the beginning of modern WoW and all it entails, you're just nostalgic for AFKing in Dalaran and Ulduar/ICC.

>Yeah, I tried tanking a couple of times in dungeons and it's fucking awful.
It's funny cause bear druids were actually top tier tanks in wrath but holy fuck were they super boring to play
wrath is a lot more alt friendly and you didn't need much in the way of money, but who knows what classic wrath's economy is gonna be like with all the poopsock classic fags running infinite GDKPs and buying gold who are already sitting on millions

Vanilla - Wrath = Old WoW
Cata = Interrim
WoD - SL = Modern WoW

Get it right.

>muh dungeon tool
It was introduced later on and it was realm-wide only. It was a good addition. The same people who cried about dungeons being too easy are the same people who cried about cata dungeons being too hard. There is a reason why WoW peaked with WotLK.

All i remember is playing a frostfire bolt mage for Naxx and four drakes

Not really, given how Wotlk was the expansion that killed WoW after Activision got its tentacles in.

I always assumed forced PvP was to promote ganking and thus annoyance and to ultimately entice player to buy level boosts to circumvent the frustrating part of getting ganked while leveling.
Meds or true?

>late game wotlk disc
>"mana? whats that?"

>being hyped with WoTLK
Nah. Its a fun xpac, don't get me wrong. But they really dumbed down the difficulty in WoTLK and PvE content was an absolute cakewalk compared to TBC and some of the end-game content in-between Naxx and Icecrown sucks wet shit.
cata pre-nerfed content would be great though

Cata+MoP = Interrim*

only if your european, na have to suffer the 150ms+ ping on private servers

WOTLK has much more to it than TBC

Like what?

>cata pre-nerfed content would be great though
They never nerfed anything in Cata, pugs were just horrible at random heroics. But yeah Cata is underrated, despite some of the shit it did.

No. Because WOTLK had poopy raids and I'm already playing the best expansion on Stormforge.

If only it had that Throne of Tides/Neptulon raid and Dragon Soul (esp deathwing fight) weren't so lame

>pandababbys fighting with wrathbabbys
both your expansions were trash

negative and kys.

>pugs were just horrible at random heroics.
Wrong. Trash groups were lower in number but they were hitting harder than anything else. They required hard CCs. I remember when I first entered the vortex one on normal, we had to play with thow healers because the damage in there was fucking absurd. It was extremely fun though.

>tfw never managed to get dbw on my dk after pugging first wing of icc25 for like half a year

>I remember when I first entered the vortex one on normal, we had to play with thow healers because the damage in there was fucking absurd.
wtf m8. nobody brought two healers for heroic even.

The worst thing Cata did was the revamp of the world. I can't think of a single zone that got "improved" in any way shape or form and whenever I level an alt, it's so painfully annoying to quest through so many gimmicky scenarios and ugly landscapes with no natural fantasy feel to them anymore.

>Redridge in cata
fucking why

private servers are like comparing the county faire merry go round to the best roller coaster park in the world

>wtf m8. nobody brought two healers for heroic even.
>I didn't play on release, the post
Heroics were easier later on because of equipment. The normals however were brutal with questing greens or WotLK epics.

>desolace... is not so desolate
>Thousand Needles turned into Vash'jir lite

>post-cata Azshara
I will never forgive Blizzard

Attached: tier wow zones.jpg (1448x3586, 2.43M)

Nah people were legit just bad and expected 5 man to mean mass pulling and spamming aoe, just like in wrath. I did the Cata heroics on release day after reaching 85 and we had to manually travel to each one because we didn't have the ilvl to use group finder, and had no issues. Pubs just want to aoe and don't actually cc/interrupt shit

No. I played it for years on private servers and I'm absolutely done with it. It was the most popular expansion for fucking around on privs and I doubt it will gather a large crowd of players when released by Blizzard.

So what are they going to do for Cata? Are they just going to go the OSRS route and spin off a completely separate timeline?
SURELY they're not braindead enough to try and push Cata again?
