Should I purchase Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Should I purchase Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Zone-tan is overrated.
Just breed already
Yes. But remember, it's a slow burn game. Not a sit-down-for-12-hours-a-day-4-days-in-a-row kind of game.
No it's the worst Animal Crossing by far. None of the soul of the first few games, nor the featureset of New Leaf.
>No it's the worst Animal Crossing by far
that's not city life
get over yourself
Damn, I already miss emotes
I'd say it's better than new leaf since the 2.0 update. new leaf has a few more features still but it doesn't have the level of freedom NH has and the dying grass sucks
This
It's so much better with the newest expansion, but there is still a ton of really annoying issues players have been very vocal about wanting fixed that they never bothered even acknowledging; and they've explicitly stated they are never updating the game again so we're stuck with them forever. It's a handful of quality of life changes away from being the best in the series.
can you elaborate? I'm seriously considering
No, it's easily the worst AC.
Emulate GCN or if you need Ankha, New Leaf.
>I'd say it's better than new leaf since the 2.0 update
Unless they remove tool durability or at least have the decency to make Gold Tools unable to break as well as stopping the game being centered around a half-baked shitty crafting mechanic New Horizons will always be the worst Animal Crossing.
Now that it's actually a finished game, yeah. If you like decorating, and got collection autism, it'll scratch those itches real good.
So the DLC added in:
>-An area where most of the daily visiting NPCs are permanently set up to sell you stuff, most on a weekly rotation.
>-If you pay $25 extra an island you can go to and work as a house designer for all of the villagers if you care about that sort of thing. Think of it as a De-bug mode for Animal Crossing where you can freely decorate without having to acquire each item.
>-Brewster who you just go to his cafe in the museum and he gives you coffee. It really serves no function besides being cozy and he gives you like five furniture pieces for going there daily 50 times.
>-New Nook island tours that are very similar to the ones we previously had, but now you can get lucky and land on an island that is during a different season and farm materials that only spawn during that time.
>-If you bought the DLC you can decorate your villager's homes so they're not ugly
>-And lastly a massive amount of furniture items was added to the game so it doesn't feel so hollow.
I left out some features, but those are the major ones. However, to clarify what I said in the last post, this new stuff is really refreshing and cool, but instead of fixing the mountain of issues already present in the base game, they just added new stuff ontop of the base game and then said they were leaving the game as it is forever so they can work on other projects. I pulled up an old wishlist someone else made that I saw before the update and crossed out the stuff they added to help you visualize how many problems were left unchecked.
I forgot to mention, a lot of stuff they never fixed have been done already in previous games in the series which is why it was so irritating.
fucking retarded devs
nope. torrent it for free and play it on emulator. use money for chicken tendies
It's ok
so Nintendo is going full GaaS now?
why tho
>-If you pay $25 extra an island
Holy fucking jew, what the fuck.
