Been hearing rumors of Xbox making a portable console but.. why? There's no viable reason for owning a portable Xbox beyond it being a collectable.

steam deck probably has about the same power as an xbox one or ps4. MS could make a portable xbox one if they thought it was worth their time.

If Microsoft made a Portable Xbox, It'd probably be similar in design to the Steam Deck.
I'd buy it but that's cause I'm a massive Xboxfag and always wished they would make a handheld. Only thing is, like the Steam Deck, it wouldn't be a real handheld with it's own unique library like the Vita and 3DS are which makes it far less appealing to me.

the deck's power ranges between the ps4 and ps4pro, but thanks to linux and its 800p resolution games run vastly better than they would on a ps4

id buy a portable xbox so long as the controllers drifting can be fixed by buying a new controller attachment, and not a new fucking console. pc fags need not speak for console users. unlike the jank steam deck a microsoft portable will be standardized with no fucking around. theres a market for this.
Seeing how the Aya Neo, GDP, OneXplayer got blown up, I think companies noticed that people want to have a handheld device specially if they don't need to rebuy all their games and it odesnt have major controller flaws (Mostly talking about Aya Neo and GDP here, there been on the Market for years and their QC is pretty decent, the deck is pretty new to judge)
I see Microsoft is the one who most likely release a Portable (Xbox Series P?). I mean if they can keep it around $400, have the same console OS on it, have similar performances like the deck but with Game Pass... I would buy that device
