I found my Ex's DSlite and a bunch of my old GBA games but noticed this one was missing so I bought a new copy that's on the way. How does Any Forums rank this among other Zelda games? I remember I really liked it and there was only 1 Kinstone I couldn't match, I want to start over to 100% it. What did you like about the game? Flaws?
Minish Cap
It's amazing- despite being my capcom it's one of the best Zeldas.
I believe there's a bug that stops you 100%ing all kinstones, there's definitely one that stops you opening all chests.
Hate that the mirror shield is literally NG+ only, but love the other unlockables like all the skills.
Minish Ezlo is cute!
it's average in the grand scheme of things, the main content is great, however in order to 100% the game you have to participate in an RNG gacha machine, such bullshit
it's being decompiled and will eventually get a nifty PC port and hopefully a lot of original fan content
Good taste user, you should definitely play it. Vaati>Ganon
Excellent game with arguably the most soulful graphics among all top down Zelda games.
I like the graphics and finding the kingstones to make shit happens was fun, the rest specially the dungeons are super meh and for me all zeldas sucks except for squilliam sword and breath of the wild
It's the worst of the Capcom Zelda's though.
>really easy
>coolest items locked behind kinstone trading
>mini-gimmick not utilized nearly as well as it should
It's still one of the best 2d Zelda games though.
I'll have to look up those bugs. I dont remember there being a NG+ or mirror shield. That's interesting though. As far as 2D zelda goes it's one of my favorites. It's pretty comfy for Zelda
I fucking hated this game when I was little and it was the last zelda game I played.
>I dont remember there being a NG+ or mirror shield.
The Mirror Shield can only be obtained after you beat the Final Boss, in which you then do a Kinstone trade with the Biggoron on the mountain. I dunno what he means by NG+ though since all the content at that point doesn't reset.
I remember I hated that stupid gacha machine
I liked that this game had a different villain. Gannon is cool but Vaati makes for a nice twist. It's good to change it up
>squilliam sword
Lmfao
Now that OoT praise has mellowed out, it's probably one of the most overrated ones. Consistently see people saying it's great and one of the best, but really it's probably one of the weakest titles. Quality-wise, it's fighting for supremacy with Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, and I'm not even sure I'd say it comes out on top.

lol
Probably meant postgame. I dont even remember there being one but I killed Vaati alot.
Story- and character- wise? One of the most forgettable Zeldas. World building, art design, and charm? One of the best.
>Flaws?
Kinstones, and the difficulty is just pathetic. Endgame enemies still deal fractions of a heart of damage. It's especially baffling considering the Oracle games were on the somewhat difficult side of 2D Zeldas.
Story wise I remember was a bit dull but the gameplay and the art were great.
I got to borrow Oracle of Seasons from a friend for a few days, never beat it but it was awesome. Felt like a links awakening DLC before that was a thing. Seemed really cool. IMO Oracles was the end of the original zelda games era and everything changed after that.
It's the worst 2D Zelda, far too easy and traversing the overworld is a slog.
Checked. The Oracles are great and they hold up, just played them a couple months ago. They definitely were an end of an era.
