I think he ironically JOKER-society mindset. His voice lines, besides the fecal fanaticism, made it seem like he hated how he was under the boot of the world as it was, and that he wanted to burn it all down.

yes, his motive was just as good as all the other endings. he wanted to fuck up the golden order and their tree, so he made some shit that makes it so the evil tree can't suck up your soul

He seemed to hold a compassion towards omens, and wanted everyone to be one so the GW Would be able to eat people's souls

He was a crazy asshole who felt kinship with Omens and was bummed up he didn't share the physical fuckery they had to match his craziness. He got a vision, supposedly from another one of those outer gods like the Formless Mother, and then went all in on turbo raping everything so they'd become fucked up too. Endgame was to make everyone and everything fucked up so "nothing was fucked up"
