Not even as close to being as broken as half the shit in Elden Ring. The only thing that comes close is the ash/firecrackers on monk and that's not even as bad hoarfrost stomp and mimic ashes. It's much better balanced and keeps the community at the same level. Elden Ring, the most popular "git gud" fromsoft game, ironically might as well have an easy mode.

I was already going to play Sekiro after ER but if that's the case then I already know I will have a much better experience.
I don't hate ER but I think I'm just too low IQ to fully learn the game. There are just too many things and I can't be arsed to learn them all. My inventory is full, like really full of things that I have absolutely no idea what they do.
I just go ahead a fight enemies with my good ol' sword and shield. What else am I supposed to do? I keep finding bosses that I just know they're my level and I just know there's a certain weapon or item or tactic that would help me defeat them but how am I supposed to find that out?

What you're supposed to do in Elden Ring is google what the most broken items, weapons, and abilities are, run to the tiny corners of the map to pick them up, then go into the boss room and obliterate everything. That's the meta Fromsoft chose with this game. There's very little you need to know from external sources to play Sekiro, it's more of a reflex game.
