We got 12 games that were too bogged down with aimless mechanics and limited budget accompanied by a storyline that was obscure out of necessity (rather than for novelty). A competently designed, thoroughly fleshed out Armored Core game with modern-day mechanics and streamlined connectivity would be MONEY PRINTING for FromSoftware. Armored Core was FromSoftware's biggest title for the longest time, and I dare say it was one of the primary contributing factors to them being able to make Demon Souls. The AC series deserves better than the last couple of sad excuses it got as mainline games. AC4A was the last good one, and it was a good heading for the direction that they should have taken for the game. But of course they just had to shit the bed because "reasons".
