It's not a premium battlepass, it just behaves like a battlepass in any other game where you proceed along an XP track and get rewards as you level up.
It's more of a seasonal progression bar but they call it a battlepass to get the point across.

You pay nothing for it, it's just time-locked rewards linked to pvp ranks. And they're not even really time-locked since you will be able to get them later with token exchange. It's honestly less jewish than SE normally is.

Yoshi-P made sure to call it "Series" and not battlepass. It's more of a progression rewards system that is "fomo" (this seems to be disputed). It's free to subscription users (don't know about free trial anons).
