You can only get the unaltered banished knight armor from one random enemy in the late game with RNG drop rates

>you can only get the unaltered banished knight armor from one random enemy in the late game with RNG drop rates
What fucking bullshit

what's fucking point of the alterations when you cant alter much? Just adding or removing capes. Why do they have such half assed things in this game, same as the crafting system

Which one?

The crafting system is useful though, the only downside is that you can’t just buy ingredients from merchants to make arrows or anything.

because a cape blocks half the part of armor sets? dumb spastic

raddest fucking armor piece of the entire game imo

>can’t just buy ingredients from merchants to make arrows or anything.
this is either a lie or you haven't played enough yet

where is it anyways? is it those ghost knights in Castle Sol?

There’s a knight with two wolves at Castle Sol in the Mountaintops of the Giants. You can get it from him.

What ingredients can you buy?

I think you can get it from the Two Sword Knight near the back as well

I’m talking about the plants, from what I’ve seen no merchants in the game sell Bloodroses, or at the very least they only sell incredibly limited quantities.

drops from the Coldsteel knights at Castle Sol

and that is a lot to you? you are satisfied with just that? go and gobble chink cock somewhere else

Crafting is extremely useful, the only real downside is some recipes require some bullshit rare ingredient like crystal moss or dragonfly heads.

It is not only removes capes but also makes armor have worst stats as a result, absolutely pointless system. Crafting is actually pretty useful.

what's the easiest way to get the prelate fatboy armor? I've only found two and they're in pain the ass locations AND one has a red smock with manboobs on it

bloodroses are easy to farm, the ones at the church of the rose and fort haight respawn when you hit a grace

>Is related to dragons and lightning
>Doesn't scale with either FAI or ARC
>Only weapon art deals lightning damage
>can't be infused
>Meanwhile magic users get two INT scaling katanas, memeveil being the one all shitters use
???

not gonna lie, the amount of clipping issues all of the capes cause in this game triggers my autism fiercely

I really don't get why Lightning Spells are FTH based but Lightning Weapons are 100% Dex only.
There's no way to create any synergy here, like there's not even a "Dex helps Incantations Scale" option like Clawmark/Dragon Communion Seal!

Are daggerbuilds fucked? I want to do go dual dagger with poison and rot.

I hate how int focused so many weapons are. There are like 2 fth 2h swords and the rest are just int if not neutral

You just go rot and bleed/frost in stead of poison. AFAIK there is no "deadly" poison dagger.

you can do well with them but carrying around a flail as backup is practically mandatory

you can just collect all the ones in the church, get killed and respawn at the stake of marika

Actually, FTH gets a bunch of solid Greatswords but the problem is they are all backloaded as fuck. Like you can't get anything until the after the Capital.

Armor or weapon farming in general is total bullshit. This is an action adventure game, and an open world one to boot, why the fuck am I farming and reseting at bonfires like this is an MMO or something? Why are there rows and racks everywhere in Stormveil with weapons and armor (even the Banished Knight armor) but I can't pick up any of them? Why is there no armorer NPC anywhere that sells these things?
>oh but the jews in the open world sell the starting sets!
Great so I can larp as a vagabond if I start as a samurai. It gets even more ridiculous with armor sets like the fire prelate that you have to farm a single late game, tanky as fuck, high damage enemy to get and it's not even guaranteed. I farmed that fat red nigger at the frozen fort for an hour and I got 6 legs and 6 gloves. Not a single chest or helmet. And I had a build pretty much specifically made to buttfuck these assholes.

I think DS2 was overall a dogshit mess of a game and I cannot believe it was even released.

HOWEVER, they fucking SOLVED infusions and scaling in that game. You could infuse and buff everything, you could infuse your fucking chimes and staves, you could infuse a weapon with inherent lightning with more lightning for super scaling, or even fucking fire if you wanted to.

Really wish they just completely fucking opened up infusions in Elden Ring. I have no idea why they reverted the ONLY good thing about DS2 in subsequent games.

>Dex helps Incantations Scale
I've got 20 on that being in one of the first DLC's that comes out
Dex is the only damage stat to not have a hybrid seal, and they pulled similar shit in DaS3 DLC
