All From patches do are nerf good and/or fun things.
If you can't beat them now, you won't have an easier time post-patch.

Just nerf weapons into the dirt and put arcane builds back where they belong: the dumpster.

That boss is made for summons.
Sure you can just walk around and use ranged attacks, but is slow and fucking boring.
Summon the knight, summon your favourite summon and keep focusing one of them at a time.

just use sleep on one, there are like a billion tools you can use instead of beating them with a stick

After next patch bleed is going to be borderline unplayably bad. I wouldn’t be surprised if they reduce all bleed build up by 80%.

The second I realized that they respawned after the first one died I immediately gave up and disregarded the entire fight. Like if it had been a Smough/Ornstein power up where you fight the remaining Godskin dude with new moves and shit that would have been cool, but they seriously just went Four Kings with it and ask me to kill like five Godskin dudes in a row? Nah, bro. Nah.

I still hate that the Death effect is literally PvP-only.

It's exactly what happened in DS3. Carthus Curved Sword bleed builds on release were nuts, but then the CGS got nuked, and bleed got nuked, and Luck got absolutely fucking desolated, and it remained that way forever.

I hope it isn't nerfed across the board but Seppuku is too strong for sure. Status being good is one of the better parts of the game.

An exception which hardly upsets the rule. Half of the popular weapons/abilities were nerfed hard in the same patch.

I beat it with the mimic tear on patch 1.03 (after mimic tear nerf) and it only took me a couple tries. just use summons

Valve did the steam deck patch themselves, From had nothing to do with it.
