If the game doesn't immediately click with you then its not for you.

This game is not for souls players. Keep moving, it's not for you.

I feel like it's something you have to play to understand. It either clicks, or it doesn't. There's nothing about it that stands out of feels particularly impressive, but as a whole you get a sense it was made as a bit of a passion product, and either that works for you or it doesn't.

Sequel never...

...

It's fun. Better combat than Elden Ring.

The appeal is being the "cool kid" that places the niche game instead of the more popular series.
That's literally it. DD is shit.

Still dissapointed that going giant sword is either you being a charge whore, or a jump whore.

>It either clicks, or it doesn't.
You either have good taste in what video games or you are a Skyrim fan.

It's a single player game you schizo.

It also is a Berserk rip off

What does the game being single player have to do with people only playing it to be the cool kids playing the niche game instead of the popular series?

That's not how Dragons Dogma work. It is a slow burn of disappointment when suddenly you realize how good it is. I didn't really like DD at all until me 2nd playthrough, and from there I just kept loving it more.
Now I've played the game to death and not sure if I should play it agan

Just about every fantasy game not starring a young male protag that comes out of Japan borrows heavily from berserk.

You may as well say Witcher is a Lord of the Rings rip off.

Old school D&D fantasy adventure with fun combat

Why are you making up retarded narratives in your head?

Combat mechanics, atmosphere, TECHNOLOGY, lore

You do love the game more and more over time, but I fell in love from start to finish with it. I own it on every platform, and I sometimes pop it on to do a few Daimon runs just to gift random pawns Bitterblack gear

Combat that amounts to more than "roll around until the enemy does that one attack and then poke him".

Why do you think this is? Perhaps the first half of the game feels like a generic hack and slash rpg

E3 has been cancelled though.
Or was that just April fools?

That song reminds me of the good old days
