If you're new to the game, remember this:
A LOT of the attacks can be deflected
Doesn't mean you SHOULD deflect everything, but remember that the option is there as long as the attack doesn't have the Red Perilous Kanji. Thrust attacks with the kanji can be deflected too, but Mikiri counter is better and easier
