0 is the best and the others are just early attempts at it or glib fascimiles.
Personally I love Yakuza 5, just because of how fucking absurd it is at times (Rooftop fight) and new characters like Shinada, Watase, and Takasugi are super likeable. Worst part of it for me was probably Akiyama's ending even if he deserves the respect.

Yakuza 1 with e nglish dub is the superior video game all others chase its success. Fun, campy, perfect length. 10/10
